SUMMER ASSOCIATES PROGRAM
We welcome applicants to the 2010 summer associates program. Although 2009 is already closed, we welcome you to contact us concerning summer of 2010.
Summer associates participate in many areas of our practice. At Horack Talley, law students work on client projects and interact with clients under the direction of a mentor attorney. As a Horack Talley summer associate, you will gain experience in a wide variety of settings: observing hearings, trials, mediations, client meetings, and real estate closings.
As a summer associate you will work closely with a mentoring attorney. Your mentor will oversee your work, coach you, and make the experience at Horack Talley a valuable part of your training as a practicing attorney.
We try to ensure that our summer associates have the opportunity to get to know all the attorneys in the firm before the summer is out, and we plan social events to accomplish that goal. We are also amenable to splitting summers for students who want the opportunity to become familiar with more than one firm.

Opportunities for Law Students
Although our summer associates program is very active, we also may hire third-year students as a result of in-school interviews or direct inquiries.
