Horack Talley litigation lawyers Henry Pharr III and Jack Capitano are presenting "Residential & Commercial Landlord-Tenant Law: Practical & Ethical Concerns" with Ted Fillette and Chad Crockford of Legal Aid of North Carolina on Thursday, November 20.
The two-part program offers four total hours of North Carolina CLE. Part one will cover the substantive and procedural law of summary ejectment, expedited evictions, rules of construction, equitable defenses in private and subsidized housing, implied warranty of habitability, self-help eviction, liens on personal property, unfair and deceptive trade practices and fair housing act considerations. The program will include new developments in pertinent state and federal laws. Part two includes ethical issues in drafting leases, demands, negotiation and representation.
