In Tribute: Paul Bennett Guthery, Jr.

1/4/2016

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Paul Bennett Guthery, Jr. on December 29, 2015.

Paul came to Horack Talley when the firm Bradley, Guthery, Turner and Curry merged with Horack, Talley, Pharr & Lowndes P.A in 1989. He was a litigator who was not only highly regarded by his peers for his legal skills and ability, but also for his respect for the law and the professional manner he exhibited while working with other lawyers. He retired from Horack Talley in 1996.

Horack Talley managing attorney Smithy Curry said about Paul, “He was one of those very special persons. It was a real joy and privilege to be able to have practiced with him for so many years.”
